Sony promised there’d be other ways to get into the Killzone 3 beta besides the PlayStation Plus route, and today Guerrilla announced that 300 places are up for grabs via Twitter.
The giveaway runs until 17:00 BST on October 22, with the 300 keys to be evenly split between the SCEE and SCEA territories.
To participate, just follow these three steps:
Step 1
Log in to Twitter.
Step 2
Make sure you’re following Killzone.com’s official Twitter account, @killzonedotcom.
Step 3
If you have a SCEE PSN account, tweet the message below to @killzonedotcom:
@killzonedotcom Please include me in the Killzone 3 beta! My PSN ID is [your PSN ID] #killzone3 #scee http://ow.ly/2Vfcf
If you have a SCEA PSN account, tweet the message below to @killzonedotcom:
@killzonedotcom Please include me in the Killzone 3 beta! My PSN ID is [your PSN ID] #killzone3 #scea http://ow.ly/2Vfcf
Remember to replace “[your PSN ID]” with your actual PSN ID.
Randomly chosen participants from each territory will receive an email on October 25 containing the Killzone 3 Public Beta access code and further instructions. The email will be sent to the address you registered as your PSN Sign-In ID.
This is a crafty way to for the official Killzone Twitter to gain some more followers, which will prove particularly useful for Sony as it begins to hype up the game’s release in February 2011.
Seeing as you’ve now got a Twitter account you might as well follow VideoGamer.com and me too.
