It’s the game many PS3 owners have been waiting for since they were first wowed by those CGI gameplay videos many moons ago (E3 2005), and according to Sony Computer Entertainment its release is now set for February 27, 2009.
Speaking on the latest edition of X-Play, SCEA managing producer Kyle Shubel revealed the Killzone release date as well as unveiling two new weapons that will feature in the PS3 first-person shooter.
February 27, 2009 is a Friday which suggests to us that we could be looking at a simultaneous worldwide release. We’re waiting to hear back from Sony Computer Entertainment UK.
