Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game – predicted release window & beta

At the time of writing, the game doesn’t have a specific release date just yet. The reveal trailer was first shown at the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 showcase in August.

The trailer declared that the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC in early 2023.

Before then, there will be a beta for the game. At the time of writing, developer Teravision Games has kept its cards close to its chest as to what to expect. However, if you want in – you can sign up for the beta now. Do so on the game’s official website.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space – The Game – Human and Klown classes & more

Though the actual teams in a match will be 3 Klowns versus 7 humans, you’ll be able to pick from one of five classes for each team.

Humans can choose to be Bikers, Cop, Punks, Rednecks, or Teenagers. The Klown classes meanwhile, include Brawler, Ranger, Tank, Tracker and Trapper.

Each of these classes has their own strengths and weaknesses. For example, the Bikers are strong but slow, while the Cops are good with guns but have low stamina.

Conversely, Punks have a high stamina, but are slow to recover. Rednecks have a larger inventory space, but poor observation skills. Finally Teenagers are weak, but they’re quick and nimble.

As for the Klowns, Brawlers have high strength and low mobility. Rangers are stealthy, but low stamina. Tanks are very strong and can break through walls. Trackers aren’t as strong, but are nimble. Trappers, as the name implies, can set traps.

Of course, there’ll be plenty of wild Klown weapons to use, and some nifty features too. For example, there’ll even be voice distortion if you’re using voice chat as a Klown.

If you’re a human – you can expect dynamic objectives, explore the city for loot and weapons and work together to try and survive the night.
