Killer Instinct: Season 2 will launch for Xbox One on October 15, Microsoft and developer Iron Galaxy have announced.
A total of eight characters will feature in the second season – one new to be released each month – beginning with TJ Combo and Maya.
In addition, Season 2 will offer enhanced game modes and a completely revamped interface.
The Season 2 – Ultra Edition will cost $39.99 and includes eight fighters, select fighter costumes and accessory packs, and Killer Instinct 2 Classic. The Season 2 – Combo Breaker Pack is only $19.99 and includes all eight fighter with no extra content.
Fighters from Season 2 can be purchased for $4.99 each.
Access TJ Combo early by purchasing the Ultra Edition between September 23 and October 14.
