EA has announced that Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath is to be released for Xbox 360 this June. The PC edition was an expansion, requiring the original PC game to function, but this Xbox 360 title will be a standalone game.
This C&C3 follow-up features all the units, structures and powers from Tiberium Wars, a deep campaign storyline told through live action cinematics, six new diverse sub-factions and all-new Epic Units. The Xbox 360 game also features over 50 multiplayer maps and the Xbox 360 exclusive Kane’s Challenge mode, in which players battle through over 80 matches.
Also new in Kane’s Wrath on Xbox 360 is the CommandStick, a new control system designed to simplify the console RTS experience, both for genre newcomers and hardened C&C veterans.
