IO Interactive has announced that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will be released throughout Europe and other PAL territories on August 27 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days follows two disturbed criminals, Lynch – an impulsive and reckless self-medicated psychopath – and Kane – a tactical but disillusioned and desperate ex-mercenary – through 48 hours of hell.
“We believe the unique visuals and relentless gameplay has created an intensity never delivered in a video game before,” said Niels Jørgensen, general manager of IO Interactive. “In a genre where so many games look and feel the same, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will make people double-take. We think it’s going to make quite an impression.”
In addition to a documentary film visual style, Kane & Lynch 2 will offer all-new multiplayer modes, including Undercover Cop, Cops & Robbers and the return of Fragile Alliance.
