Just Cause 3 has gone gold, Avalanche Studios’ founder Christofer Sundberg has confirmed.
The announcement means that the explosive open world game is now ready to enter manufacturing and – unless there are any last minute disasters – won’t be pushed back beyond its December 1 release date.
“#JustCause3 is….. GOLD today!!” Sundberg tweeted last night. “Awesome work to our team taking this creation of ours and have evolved it with excellence! #RicoWasHere”
The release of Just Cause 3 follows just months after the launch of Avalanche’s other open world title Mad Max, and sees Rico Rodriguez return to Medici to overthrow a dictatorial General.
The game is due to launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 1, with three additional DLC packs also scheduled to release in the future.
