Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich has potentially revealed the official name of the upcoming movie in the film series, stating it may be called Resident Evil: Retribution.
In a Q&A with fans on Twitter, Jovovich responded to one user who asked whether the upcoming film will be subtitled “Begins” by saying:
“No, it’s not called ‘begins’ lol! it ‘began’ 10 yrs ago! lol! i think it’s called RE: Retribution, but I have to ask Paul 2 b sure.”
The Tweet refers to the film’s producer Paul W.S. Anderson.
Jovovich also wrote that scenes in Resident evil will be filmed in Tokyo.
I say this with utmost sincerity: I am looking forward to this film. After being baffled by the last film with the introduction of mechanical mind-control beetles and a scene where Jovovich kicks an actual window at a dog I’m legitimately interested in an explanation.
