The Journey Collector’s Edition for PS3 will not be released in Europe, developer thatgamecompany has announced.
The set features flOw, Flower and Journey, plus all three original soundtracks, exclusive mini-games, an exclusive documentary, and a trial to PlayStation Plus.
“The Journey PS3 Collector’s Edition isn’t coming out in Europe,” thatgamecompany said on Twitter. “We wish Europeans could get it, but there’s nothing we can do.”
The studio said the reason for no Euro edition is cost: “There are a lot of localisation costs in Europe, so it would be very hard to not lose buckets of money,” explained a Tweet.
The good news is that the North American and Asian editions will be region free, meaning you could import and play on a European PS3 without issue.
Journey Collector’s Edition is scheduled for release on August 28 in the US.
