A bunch of press info has been released, revealing a rough Japanese release schedule for the upcoming PlayStation 3 games. Six titles are currently confirmed for the November 11 launch. These are Genji: Days of the Blade, Mah-Jong Fight Club Online, Mobile Suit Gundam: Target In Sight, Resistance: Fall of Man, Sega Golf Club featuring the Miyazato Family and Ridge Racer 7. In addition Armored Core 4 is scheduled for November.
December should see the release of F1 Championship, Gran Turismo HD and MotorStorm. Sonic the Hedgehog and Fatal Inertia are down for release in 2006, and a further three titles are listed for release in the winter – these being Need for Speed Carbon, Enchant Arm and Railfan.
Moving into 2007 there’s a further 12 titles lined-up. In the spring expect to see Virtua Fighter 5, Virtua Tennis 3, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Monster Kingdom: Unknown Realms, The Eye of Judgment and Wangan Midnight. Even later as we move into the summer months, Japanese PS3 owners should eventually see Everybody’s Golf 5 and Warhawk. Titles also listed for release in 2007, but without a firm release date are Afrika, Coded Arms: Assault, and the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
With all the games with at least a vague release date covered, there are also a handful of games with a yet to be announced release date. These include Devil May Cry 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War, Shirokishi and fl0w.
Whilst most probably not complete, the list is the most comprehensive available to date.
