After impressive US and Japan performance, and a similarly profitable UK launch, Nintendo has unveiled the fifth version of its lucrative DS dual-screen handheld console. The latest addition to this portable family comes in the form of a blue version of the handheld, which sports the recognisable silhouette of Pokèmon star Pikachu to the right of its upper screen, and the logo of its Pokèmon theme park (the imaginatively named Pokèpark) on the outer casing.

If you want one of these, you’ll have to make the trip to Poképark.

This limited edition DS will only be sold at Pokèpark, and only up until the September 25th conclusion of the World Exposition, which launched in Aichi, Japan, last month. There are currently no plans to release the console onto any other markets.

The recent addition of both Graphite Black and and Pure White DS models to its Japanese line-up almost tripled sales of the handheld in the region. Nintendo are obviously aiming to repeat this boost in sales, with plans to release two more models, Turquoise Blue and Candy Pink, to the Japanese market on April 21st.
