Variety reports that Oscar award-winning actor Jamie Fox is wrapping up talks that will see him play the role of James Lynch in Lionsgate and Millennium Films’ big screen adaptation of Kane & Lynch.
Foxx will join Bruce Willis who has been attached to the project as Kane since 2008.
Production of the project is expected to begin in August with Simon Crane making his feature film directorial debut.
There’s no word on a release date, but Kane & Lynch fans won’t have to wait much longer for another dose of their criminal antics; Kane & Lynch 2 was recently announced for release on August 27.
