Jade Empire was received very well when it was released for the Xbox in 2005 and now PC gamers can experience the power of the Open Palm or Closed Fist. A release date is yet to be announced, but a few details on the PC port suggest it’ll be a little more than a simple port.
As well as improved visual effects and high resolution support, new monsters and fighting styles will be added, along with a new world map interface and improved combat AI. While this news will please PC gamers, news of a sequel on the Xbox 360 would have been great for Xbox 360 owners. With Microsoft’s pre-E3 conference taking place tomorrow evening, a Jade Empire sequel announcement certainly isn’t out of the question.
