PlayStation VR launch title Battlezone has gone gold ahead of its October release, developer Rebellion has announced, potentially making it one of the first PS VR games to wrap up development.
The tank shooter – which I had a lot of fun with when I played it back in March – releases alongside PlayStation VR on October 13, and will be available to download digitally or purchase physically.
One thing to point out: it’ll cost £49.99, which is quite a bit higher than I had initially been expecting. Oh, and you’ll obviously need the PlayStation VR and PlayStation Camera to play it.
Described as a reboot of the classic Atari franchise, Battlezone promises “intense first person tank combat, an expansive campaign and a stunning retro aesthetic”.
