Super Meat Boy will release on PS4 and PS Vita on October 6, the official PlayStation website has revealed – the same day next month’s PS Plus games are expected to go live.
The date suggests that the tricky platformer could be included in next month’s PS Plus Instant Game Collection, and tallies with earlier comments from Sony that said the game would be “free on PlayStation Plus at launch”.
Team Meat has yet to formally announce a release date for the PS4 and PS Vita port, nor has Sony confirmed next month’s line-up of PS Plus titles.
Super Meat Boy first launched on PC and Xbox 360 in 2010, with the PS4 and PS Vita release marking its first appearance on PlayStation platforms.
