Sloclap has announced that clever Kung-Fu brawl-em-up Sifu will be heading to Xbox consoles and Steam on PC for the first time next year.

The game will arrive on the two formats in time for its next major update on PlayStation 5, where it will also be getting a brand new arenas mode.

The news was revealed by the game’s official Twitter account, alongside a trailer from IGN confirming the new features, which will be available as a free update for those who already own the game.

What is the Sifu Xbox and Steam PC release date?

Sifu arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam in March 2023 – although a specific date is still to be announced.

Sifu originally launched back in February of 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and the Epic Game Store on PC.

You play as a young man who seeks revenge on a gang that was responsible for his father’s death – but as well as your martial arts skills, you’re also in possession of a magical talisman.

Thanks to this talisman, you’re able to survive otherwise fatal blows – at the cost of aging up and making you more powerful, but older and less nimble.

We really enjoyed the game in our review, where we gave it an 8. “The coup of Sifu is that this process mirrors that of the hero,” wrote Josh.

“I was continually tempted to ditch my progress and start afresh, furnished with new knowledge at the expense of a little more life.”

The game subsequently saw a release on the Nintendo Switch just last month – which itself was part of a year of updates and new features that have been slowly added to the game since its release.
