Is Instagram down? Reports explain why Instagram is not working

We’ve heard numerous reports that Instagram is down, alongside Facebook

According to the reliable website Down Detector, there are problems with Meta’s services, extending to Instagram and Facebook too. This began at roughly 3:30PM GMT on March 5th.

It looks like both Instagram and Facebook are mostly affected by those based in the US. Not only are we seeing reports on DownDetector, but Twitter is saying the same. It’s nice that Twitter still has the tea when it comes to trends…

Instagram upload failed – how to fix

If you’re running into problems with uploading a post to Instagram, it could be because Instagram is down right now. It looks like it’s a problem Instagram’s end, considering the numerous reports we’ve seen that Instagram is down. Issues include being unable to post pictures or load posts. At the time of writing, it’s unclear when this issue will be resolved, but we trust the issue is being worked on. After all, Zuck has only just launched Threads, a kind of sister platform to Instagram. We recommend sitting tight and waiting for the issue to be fixed.
