InZOI early access is now out and available to play on Steam. There is a shared roadmap from the developer that includes a significant first update scheduled for May, meanwhile, we have compiled a list of the differences and similarities between the game and its supposed rival, The Sims 4. While there are lots of improvements to be made as admitted by the game’s director, InZOI early access has debuted with an impressive player count, and the developer has announced an extra free reward for players to claim.

InZOI early access player count

As of 11AM GMT on March 28th, the early access player count for InZOI according to Steam Charts is a 24-hour peak of 60,727. This is already very impressive, and it’s likely to get even higher as early access has only just launched, and players in other areas like the United States are not active right now due to differences in time zones.

In addition to this player count, as of writing, the game has also debuted in the top 20 most played Steam games. It is currently placed 17th, where it sits just behind Delta Force, but ahead of War Thunder and Warframe.

Its place on the top 100 most played games is likely to fall as, unlike the vast majority of the top 20, InZOI early access is not free-to-play as it has a premium fee of £34.99.

Extra free reward for players

Away from the player count, the InZOI developer has announced an extra free reward for players on the game’s official Discord.

Per the developer’s announcement, they “identified an issue related to the Friend Invitation Event”. The problem is that, “when a player purchased the game and sent out an invitation code, the ‘Kitty Headset’ reward was not being distributed”.

To apologize for this issue, the developer is giving the Kitty Outfit as a free reward in addition to the Headset. You will get these two rewards by creating a friend invitation link and successfully inviting one of your friends.
