Brian Fargo, head of inXile Entertainment, and responsible for recent RPG hits Torment: Tides of Numenera and A Bard’s Tale, announced via a tweet that the studio is bringing their post apocalyptic RPG Wasteland 2 to the Nintendo Switch.

First posting a picture of the game’s menu on a Switch development kit yesterday, the port was later confirmed by inXile’s own Twitter account as well as further subsequent tweets from Fargo himself, clarifying that the port would be handled by the same team who ported A Bard’s Tale to mobile.

The news comes a couple of months after the story broke that inXile had just become an approved Nintendo Switch developer. There’s no word yet on a date for this port, though inXile themselves are currently working on both Wasteland 3 and The Bard’s Tale IV for a 2018 and 2019 release, respectively.
