Inversion, the third-person sci-fi action game from Saber Interactive, will be released June 8, 2012, Namco Bandai Games has announced.
Earlier this year Namco Bandai confirmed that Inversion was to miss its planned February 7 launch, but offered no revised release date.
A press release confirming the new date explained the reason for the long wait.
“The extra development time for Inversion affords the team the opportunity to create an enjoyable and engaging third-person shooter experience with a comprehensive multiplayer component, including extensive competitive and co-operative modes,” said Namco Bandai.
Inversion will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. An iOS and Android game, The Inversion Project, will also be released later this year.
