Insomniac Games has announced its free-to-play MMO Global Resistance Online to tie into its Resistance: Fall of Man series.
The game was described during a San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Q&A as an online strategy title, where the player can choose to join the side of human or chimera commanders.
The game will feature unlockable items that can be used in the upcoming shooter Resistance 3, including multiplayer skins, in-game titles, and XP boosts.
Global Resistance Online has already launched and can be accessed through the official Global Resistance website.
