UPDATE: The demo appears to have hit the networks early. Queue it up for download on your Xbox 360 now.

ORIGINAL STORY: A playable demo of superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available to download from PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace tomorrow, April 3, Warner Bros. has announced.

The demo features three playable characters from the full game’s roster – Batman, Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor – and lets players duke it out in the game’s Gotham City arena.

However, there’s no indication that the demo will be available on Wii U, despite the game launching on Nintendo’s console alongside the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions later this month.

We’ve checked in with a Warner Bros. representative to ask whether it’ll be available on the Nintendo eShop in the future, and will update if we get a response.

Injustice: Gods Among Us launches on April 19 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
