Injustice 2 has become the first fighting game since Mortal Kombat X in 2015 to nab the top spot in the UK charts — both were developed by NetherRealm Studios.

This is Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s first number 1 this year after the launches of Lego Worlds, and the Lego City Undercover re-release.

Farpoint, the PSVR-only shooter, becomes the highest-charting virtual reality exclusive ever, nestling in behind the superhero sequel at number 2.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and sci-fi Dark Soulslike The Surge debut at number 5 and 10 respectively, while last week’s number 1 Prey falls to fourth place. Here’s the top 10 for the week ending May 21.
