We’re still waiting to hear back from Activision regarding a UK release and pricing details for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition, but it’s now been confirmed that it won’t come cheap.
Infinity Ward has slapped a $149 price tag on the bumper boxed set in the US, while the steel cased Hardened Edition will be available for around half that at $79.
If you missed the news yesterday, the Prestige Edition includes a copy of the game, art book, download coupon for the original Call of Duty on XBLA/PSN, and a working set of night vision goggles with a head to display them on.
If you’re not interested in the goggles, the Hardened Edition includes a steel box, a copy of the game, an art book and a download coupon for the original Call of Duty.
Infinity Ward has also confirmed that the XBLA/PSN version of Call of Duty will also feature full online multiplayer.
