InFamous: Second Son sold over 1 million copies worldwide within nine days of its release, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has revealed.
As reported by IGN, the impressive sales figures make Second Son the fastest-selling title in the InFamous series, with pre-order numbers reportedly being higher than those of Naughty Dog’s BAFTA-winning PS3 title The Last of Us.
It’s still got some way to go before it catches up with launch shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall, though, whose sales stood at 2.1m earlier this year.
InFamous: Second Son launched exclusively on PlayStation 4 last month.
