Sony has announced the games coming to PlayStation Plus for September on its blog. The lineup is peppered with some pretty decent games such as Infamous Second Son, Child of Light, VR title Rigs and wait for it… Handball 2016. Apparently that’s not a British version of basketball.

Sucker Punch’s excellent PS4 action-adventure title Infamous Second Son tops the list this month, and gives gamers the chance to play the rather sharp looking PS4 launch title. This is closely followed by Ubisoft’s rather delightful Studio Ghibli-inspired RPG Child of Light. PS VR owners haven’t been forgotten this month, with the pretty fun first-person arena shooter Rigs also being added to the promotion. I suppose it’ll give them a reason to dust off their headset, anyway.

As with all PS+ updates, these games will be available to download on the first Wednesday of the month. You’ll probably want to download August’s games before they disappear.

The whole lineup is as follows:

  • Infamous: Second Son (PS4)
  • Child of Light (PS4)
  • Rigs: Mechanised Combat League (PS4 bonus title – PS VR required)
  • That’s You (PS4 bonus title)
  • Truck Racer (PS3)
  • Handball 2016 (PS3)
  • We Are Doomed (PS Vita and PS4)
  • Hatoful Boyfriend (PS4 and PS Vita)
