Beginning at 09:00 GMT on Friday to 16:00 GMT Monday, April 9, more than a thousand PC gamers from across Europe will be found taking part in competitive LAN games with thousands of pounds in prize money up for grabs.

The i-Series is the UK’s largest LAN party and is described like a music festival such as Glastonbury, but with games instead of music.

This year’s event, i30, will host a number of tournaments for the most popular PC titles, including Quake 4, C&C3, Supreme Commander and Battlefield 2142. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take an early look at Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Hellgate: London and World in Conflict.

For more information and details on how to take part – there are still places available if you’re quick – head over to the i30 webstie.
