Ninty has announced that the Zelda-themed hack-‘n-slash Hyrule Warriors is heading to the Switch at some point in the first half of 2018. The actioner will arrive on the hybrid console under the moniker of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, and includes a wealth of DLC.

Originally released on the Wii U, Hyrule Warriors will be packed with all of the content seen in previous versions of the game (including the expanded 3DS edition), so that means you’ll be getting heaps of maps, missions, characters and more straight out of the box. There’s also new content in the shape of costumes from Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Switch version of Hyrule Warriors includes the multiplayer seen in the Wii U edition, offering two-player action on a single console. However, the Definitive Edition now adds split-screen play letting two gamers duke it out using one Joy-Con controller each.
