Big Download reports that Webzen’s massively multiplayer online first-person shooter, Huxley, has had its North American release pushed back into the first half of 2009.

According to a rep from publisher NHN USA, the delayed release will allow the development team more time to solve localisation issues.

In Huxley players will choose between two races, Sapiens or Alternatives, and must obtain a powerful energy source while fighting battles against the Hybrids, a third race born of the two races. In addition to the PC version, Huxley is also expected to arrive on Xbox 360 although development is said to be around six months behind that of the PC game
