A new feature starring Jabba the Hutt is to be introduced to Star Wars Battlefront in a future update, EA has teased.
While we don’t yet know how it ties into the game, a new ‘Hutt Contracts’ mode was teased in a trailer released for the game last night, revealing a short clip of Jabba holding a holographic device projecting images of weapons.
The trailer (below) is titled ‘Star Wars Battlefront – Free Game Updates’, suggesting the mode will be available for free. EA says that it’s “coming soon”.
EA has previously confirmed that Battlefront’s first premium expansion pack, which is due for release later this month, will let players “battle within Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine”, although it isn’t yet clear whether Hutt Contracts will be introduced at the same time.
Following the release of the DLC, three further expansion packs are also due to roll out each quarter until early 2017.
