Hurdling was first added to Fortnite with the Chapter 4 Season 1 update. Now just a couple weeks later this new feature has already been removed by Epic Games.

The official tweet, which is pretty light on information, does not give a reason as to why hurdling has been removed from the game, or when we can expect it to return. It was a great new feature that allowed for players to hop over fences, and low objects at significant speed.
Why Has Hurdling Been Removed From Fortnite?
Although no official reason was given by Epic Games as to why it moved this updated mobility, those from within the community have a rough idea as to why. Some players from within the community reported that they could be flung into the sky when hurdling in the game.

Other plates have complained about it auto-hurdling when they have gotten too close to obstacles on the map, regardless of if they wanted to hurdle or not. Hopefully this new feature will return back to the game soon.
