Dambuster Studios “strongly” recommends that PS4 and Xbox One players download and install Homefront: The Revolution’s day one patch before starting the game, citing “a range of performance and framerate improvements” as key areas focussed on in the update.
In a message posted on the game’s forums ahead of its North American release tomorrow, Dambuster told players to “make sure you have the most recent update(s) downloaded and installed”.
“The Day 1 update includes a range of performance and framerate improvements as well as other fixes to enhance your playthrough experience. We strongly recommend you have the Day 1 update installed before starting your playthrough.”
Detailed patch notes for the title update have yet to be revealed.
Homefront: The Revolution launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC in North America tomorrow, before arriving in the UK this Friday, May 20. We’ll have our final thoughts on the game tomorrow morning.
