Homefront: The Revolution is to receive three single-player campaign DLCs, Deep Silver has confirmed, including a major expansion pack planned for release in 2017.
The first two add-ons – titled ‘The Voice of Freedom’ and ‘Aftermath’ – will both add new areas to explore and “several hours of original single-player content that complement Homefront’s huge 30-hour campaign”.
Then, in 2017, they’ll be followed up by a “much larger expansion” called ‘Beyond The Walls’. Details on that have yet to be provided.
Access to all three packs is included with the game’s Expansion Pass (which currently only seems to be available with the game’s £69.99 digital Freedom Fighter Bundle), although individual prices have yet to be announced.
In addition to the game’s single-player DLC, a range of new co-op missions will also be added for free, with the first set to arrive in June. Dambuster says that it is “committed to delivering high quality added content updates for the first year at no extra cost”.
Homefront: The Revolution launches in the UK this Friday, May 20, on PS4, Xbox One and PC. But is it worth your cash? Burns noted that the game is “not the disaster many had anticipated” in his 6/10 review, but also “fundamentally flawed”.
