Homefront: The Revolution will release in the UK on PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 20, Deep Silver has confirmed.

A closed beta, meanwhile, is due to go live exclusively on Xbox One in February, offering select players the chance to try out the game’s co-op three months ahead of launch. You can register here to secure a place.

Confirmation follows a leak from Target last week, which revealed that the game was due to hit the US on May 17.

Homefront: The Revolution sees players joining a resistance group attempting to retake Philadelphia following a Korean invasion. The game will include a campaign featuring support for up to 4-player co-op, but is expected to drop the original game’s surprisingly good competitive multiplayer.

A new trailer offering a closer look at the game was also revealed by Deep Silver earlier today. Check it out below.
