Cool Herders is described as a fun game for all ages which will see players leading a flock of sheep to safety, protecting them from dangers. The game is based on the original Dreamcast homebrew title by Harmless Lion Studios and now features a number of Nintendo DS features.
The original game had a fun multiplayer element and this DS version will expand on this with four-player wireless play. Here, you and three other players will compete to gather the largest flock of sheep, stealing sheep from other players by whatever means possible.
Visually the game appears to borrow much from the classic 2D Bomberman titles, with each player competing on the same maze-like stages.
Further details are said to be announced over the coming weeks along with more console announcements from Alien8.
