Team Cherry has super-glued a release date to Hollow Knight’s upcoming Gods & Glory DLC, confirming the free content will roll out on PC and Switch on August 23.
There’s plenty to tuck into with this final freebie, including a brand new game mode that is unlocked after completing the DLC, additional boss battles, expanded romance options thanks to the arrival of the Godseeker, plus fresh music from composer Christopher Larkin.
Hollow Knight was released in February 2017 on PC before rolling out for the Big N’s hybrid powerhouse last month. The game was partially funded by Kickstarter, and takes the form of a 2D, Metroidvania actioner where players control a nail-wielding, insect-like chap, who ventures deep into a creepy underground world ripe for exploration.
