The official UK midnight launch for Wii U will be held at HMV’s flagship Oxford Street store, Nintendo has announced.
The first 100 people in the queue will receive a free copy of New Super Mario Bros. U and one other title from a select range. The second 100 people will receive a £5 voucher which can be redeemed against Wii U purchases on the night.
And the freebies don’t stop there. The first 500 people will also receive a Wii U goody bag, and everyone in attendance will have the chance to win prizes on the evening.
Also look out for demos of ZombiU, Nintendo Land and NSMBU.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the official midnight launch event for Wii U at our Oxford Street flagship, which is fast-becoming the natural home of all major games launches in the UK,” said HMV head of games Ewan Pinder.
The launch event will kick off at 11pm on November 29.
