A total of seven episodes will be released for Hitman throughout 2016, Square Enix has confirmed.

While it isn’t yet known whether a new map will be introduced in all seven episodes, Square has previously promised at least six locations, including the Paris map available at launch, and additional areas set in Italy, Morocco, Thailand, Japan and the USA.

Picking up the £44.99 ‘Full Experience’ pack will grant access to all seven episodes as they release and a £15 saving on buying them all individually. Alternatively, players who purchase the ‘Intro Pack’ for £11.99 will be able to download subsequent episodes individually for £7.99 each.

Free DLC, including new weapons and outfits, will also be available to all players throughout the year at no additional cost.

Hitman’s first episode, which includes the game’s prologue and Paris map, launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC this Friday, March 11. Release dates for future episodes have yet to be confirmed, but Square says that the game will receive “major content drops every month until season end”.
