Deadline reports that Spanish director Daniel Benmayor is in line to direct 20th Century Fox’s Hitman movie sequel.

The second movie based on the Eidos/Square Enix video game series will mark Benmayor’s Hollywood debut, having previously worked on commercials and Spanish-language action film Paintball.

The original movie grossed over $100 million worldwide on a modest $30 budget, but it’s not yet clear if its star, Timothy Olyphant, will reprise his role as Agent 47. Olyphant is currently staring as trigger-happy lawman Raylan Givens in FX’s Justified (airing in the UK on Five USA).
