UPDATE: A Square Enix representative has informed VideoGamer.com that the announcement was posted prematurely and the Airport content is not yet available. A release date for the content has yet to be confirmed.
ORIGINAL REPORT: A new update for mobile strategy game Hitman GO is available to download now introducing new Airport-themed levels and a “number of new gameplay mechanics”, Square Enix has announced.
The Airport box features 15 new levels, new enemies and the ability to skip turns, and can be accessed by playing through the game or instantly unlocked with a 69p in-app purchase.
Hitman GO left Miller impressed with its alternative take on the Hitman universe earlier this year, and said that it could be “the surprise of the year”.
Hitman: Sniper, a follow-up game similar to Hitman: Absolution’s Sniper Challenge pre-order bonus, is due to launch on mobile platforms later this year.
