Hitman 2 has leaked ahead of its expected reveal on June 7, thanks to a logo for the game briefly appearing on Warner Bros. Games' official website.
It's gone now, of course, but this is the Internet. Things never go away, hence why you can see it above this article.
While that's all we need to officially label Hitman 2 a thing, it was pretty obvious Agent 47 would be making a comeback from some previous Tweets made by the series' official account.
For starters, we got this:

Things weren't always looking so rosy for the silent assassin, though. IO Interactive split from publisher Square Enix in 2017, leaving the future of the series in doubt. That's despite Hitman's episodic reboot proving to be quite a brilliant affair.
However, IO then did the whole bromance thing with Warner Bros., which not only secured the series a new publisher, but also produced the Hitman Definitive Edition release.
Expect more details on Hitman 2 this Thursday.
