Bungie has announced that Destiny 2: Forsaken's upcoming Raid, Last Wish, will go live on September 14 at 6.00pm BST.

As always, the Raid challenges a group of six Guardians to venture into a new location and defeat the resident Big Bad. In this case, you'll be rocking up at the Dreaming City to kill a vicious creature and extract its heart. Sounds a bit grim, but hey, the things we do for loot, eh?

Not much else is known about Last Wish right now, although it probably won't be a walk in the park to beat. As such, you'll need to be packing your best armour and weapons for the job.

Speaking of gear, Last Wish will of course feature a bunch of new equipment to get your hands on, some of which was previously available due to a bug. Bungie patched the issue, but those who earned the gear prematurely can still keep it.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is out now on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Furthermore, PS4 owners received a bunch of additonal content as part of Sony and Activision's timed-exclusivity deal.

Bungie is also aiming to keep players busy for the next year or so, with the Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass delivering fresh content until summer 2019. What follows this is unknown, but I'm pretty sure Destiny 3 will be a thing at some point.
