Hello Games' No Man's Sky is gearing up for the launch of its biggest update to date next week, arriving day-and-date with the Xbox One version of the sprawling space explore-'em-up.
One of the biggest new features that comes with the Next update (yes, that is its actual name) will be multiplayer, allowing you to team up with budding explorers either as a group of mates or with random players.
Expect to get into epic space rucks as you aid your mates in battle, build shelters and colonies to share with other players, or if you fancy it, hunt down other adventurers in an effort to sustain your own selfish existence. Not that we'd recommend doing that of course, as you should totally use the time to aid others instead.
It's this new feature that is the main focus of the latest No Man's Sky trailer, offering us a gander at the multiplayer component in action for the first time.
No Man's Sky's Next update will deploy on July 24 alongside the Xbox One version of the game in the US and July 27 in Europe.
