Cradle Games and tinyBuild have announced development of Hellpoint, a brand new occult-themed sci-fi RPG set on board a derelict space station.
Due out on PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One, Hellpoint takes place during the aftermath of a 'massive quantum cataclysm,' and it's up to you to explore the station to find out what caused it. That's easier said than done though, as you'll be stalked by mobs and demonic forces from the realms of deep space.
Hellpoint will take advantage of dynamic events thanks to the station's orbit cycles, which the press blurb says will allow you to 'discover new depth to the story.'
Combat meanwhile sees you crafting weapons and skills using the 'revolutionary' power crafting system, while supernatural elements also come into play by performing rituals that affects your enemies' power and resilience.
We're also promised a 'special take' on the New Game Plus system, while Hellpoint's open-world design means you can influence which parts of the station are controlled by enemies, and in turn what 'cosmic gods' will embrace your challenge.
Hellpoint is due out on PS4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One in 2019.
