Flagship Studios’ Hellgate: London has finally been given a firm release date, with the game debuting in North America on October 31 to be followed in Europe on November 2.
“We wanted to hit the sweet-spot for release in terms of the development schedule and delivering the highest-quality game to our players,” said Bill Roper, CEO of Flagship Studios. “Halloween was the perfect fit as it ensures that Hellgate: London will have an appropriate amount of beta testing, while also being an incredibly fun time to unleash the game.“
Hellgate: London is an action RPG which combines the depth of a traditional RPG with the visceral action of a first-person shooter. Players will be able to play the game online, teaming up with friends throughout the entire story-driven campaign free of charge.
A subscription service will also be offered, giving players access to huge amounts of content on an ongoing basis. This will feature quests, character classes, demons, items and more. Further details will be announced soon.
