Helldivers 2 players beg Arrowhead for obvious customisation options

After fighting tooth and nail for Super Earth, Helldivers 2 players are begging developer Arrowhead for extra customisation options. In their spare moments, players have asked to be able to customise the trooper mannequin in their Super Destroyer.

In a recent Reddit thread, Helldivers 2 players are requesting the addition of mannequin customisation for the game. Between missions, players wish to be able to customise the mannequin with unlocked armour pieces to show off their accomplishments. 

“Arrowhead, I am BEGGING you to let us customise this mannequin in the Super Destroyer,” one player wrote. 

“It’ll never happen but it would be sweet if they let us customize the mannequin and also apply battle damage,” another said. “My armor with a torn cape that’s covered in blood and oil would be amazing.”

Would Arrowhead do this? 

Alongside fans wishing for the extra customisation feature, players are currently arguing over whether or not adding the feature would break the game or not.  

“No…don’t…it will break all the armor,” one player joked. 

“Known issues: Customizing mannequin causes all armor to give 0 defense rating,” quipped another. 

Nevertheless, adding more customisation into the hub area for Helldivers 2 would be a great addition. While the game does excel at its mission based structure — even if the new Major Orders’ lack of visibility is annoying — the hub area could do with some more things to do. 

Between missions, it would be nice to be able to display your hard-earned armour around the Super Destroyer. After all, it’s a monument to the power of Super Earth.
