Helldivers 2 constant crashing issues are ruining the game for players 

With only a few minutes until extraction, as you fight off the termanid horde: crash to desktop. Unfortunately, Helldivers 2 crashing issues are still common on the PC version of Arrowhead’s spectacular shooter, and players have had enough.

With a massive patch on the way alongside a 60-day roadmap, Helldivers 2 is in a mostly solid place. However, crashing is still common on the PC version with the game’s stability falling below expectations. 

In a thread on the game’s subreddit, players complained about the game’s lack of stability compared to other live-service shooters. With hard crashes near the end of missions, players are investing time into protecting Super Earth without any reward. 

“Crashed four games in a row and this happened on the fifth,” one player complained alongside a video of their character flying into the air. “Arrowhead, while you’re ‘cooking’, please give this game some semblance of stability.” 

While the PS5 version of the game is mostly free from crashing, other PC players echoed the same sentiment. 

“I was crashing every game for the last couple days,” another player said. “I almost threw in the towel because I couldn’t complete a single mission for nearly half a week.”

A huge update is coming 

While Helldivers 2 crashing has been a massive problem for players since March, Arrowhead Game Studios is working on major updates for the game. 

While the recent loss of the game’s support studio may affect future development, massive updates are coming. Hopefully, these new updates will fix, or at least heavily reduce, the game’s crashing while adding some sweet new content.
