SNK Playmore is “looking forward to announcing” a HD Metal Slug “someday soon”.
The revelation comes from IGN, which reports on quotes from a soon to be published interview.
SNK Playmore said: “In order to meet our fans demands for an HD version of Metal Slug, we’re considering bringing this series to the new generation of consoles in a similar way to KOF XII. We look forward to announcing this someday soon.”
The latest in the series, Metal Slug 7, is due out in Europe exclusively for the DS later this month. A HD remix of the series, however, is sure to get the game’s loyal fans even more excited.
