Ubisoft has announced that Free Radical’s PlayStation 3 first-person shooter Haze will not be released in 2007, despite a recent announcement which confirmed the title for December 14 across Europe.

The promising title will now make it to stores during the publisher’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2007-2008, meaning an early 2008 release is likely. Haze isn’t the only Ubisoft title to be handed a delay, with Splinter Cell Conviction now with a vague fiscal 2008-2009 (April 08-March 09) release date. The espionage sequel had been pencilled in for release early in 2008.

The company also announced the March 2008 release of Rainbow Six Vegas 2, the sequel to the acclaimed next-gen debut for the Rainbow Six franchise. You’ll find full details and the first screen shot elsewhere on VideoGamer.com.
