Today Ubisoft has announced that the PlayStation 3 exclusive first-person shooter Haze will be released in the UK on December 14. This gives the game just enough time to be snapped up by game-hungry PlayStation 3 owners before the Christmas festivities begin.
The news will be music to PS3 owners’ ears, with rumours persisting that the game could well slip until 2008.
Free Radical’s FPS will have some competition though, most notably from Activision’s Call of Duty 4. Haze has plenty of tricks up its sleeve though, with four-player online co-op throughout the entire campaign, matching the achievement of Halo 3.
